Madinaty Style: Modern Contemporary Sophistication
Project Overview The Habashi Residence in Madinaty is a masterclass in modern minimalism, where “less is more” becomes a statement of luxury. This kitchen was designed to be a bright, airy sanctuary that balances functional precision with a calm, sophisticated palette. By utilizing a monochromatic foundation with sharp industrial accents, we created a space that feels timelessly clean and architecturally balanced.
Design in Details
The Challenge The primary goal was to design a highly functional kitchen that avoided visual “noise.” The client sought a space that felt expansive and bright but required a distinct character to prevent it from looking plain. The challenge lay in choosing the perfect shade of off-white that would stay warm under artificial light and selecting hardware that would provide a high-contrast “pop” without disrupting the minimalist silhouette of the cabinetry.
The Engineering Solution We engineered a seamless, Flat-Panel (Slab) cabinetry system finished in a premium Matte Light Beige. The matte finish was a strategic choice to eliminate reflections and provide a soft-touch surface that remains fingerprint-resistant. To anchor the design, we integrated Matte Black hardware and fixtures, which act as a bold visual “frame” against the light-toned units, adding a layer of contemporary edge to the serene background.
The workspace is defined by polished Marble-patterned Quartz with elegant grey veining, flowing from the countertops to the backsplash with a sharp, squared-edge profile for a clean, architectural finish. To enhance the “floating” feel of the kitchen, we implemented a multi-layered LED strategy: recessed strips along the top of the cabinets to lift the ceiling height, and task-focused LEDs under the upper units to illuminate the polished stone surfaces. Paired with light hardwood flooring, the Habashi kitchen stands as a perfect example of how minimalist design can achieve maximum emotional and functional impact.
